With Autogiro, the company you’re paying can deduct the amount directly from your account, without you needing to approve each invoice. All you need to do is add a direct debit agreement via a Autogiro authorization.
You can connect Autogiro agreements to all your accounts except the savings account, provided you’re the account owner.
How to set up Autogiro
Go to ‘Pay’
Scroll down and select ‘Autogiro’
Follow the specified steps in the app.
Now you just need to wait for the company’s confirmation, which takes up to 7 banking days.
How to move an existing Autogiro
Notify us via the chat in the Lunar app that you want to move your Autogiro to Lunar, with the following information:
Name of Autogiro
Bankgiro number of the Autogiro
Account number of the account it’s currently linked to
Account number at Lunar you wish to move the Autogiro to
We’ll then help you and let you know when the Autogiro is moved!
Manage your Autogiro
You can manage your Autogiro agreement directly in the Lunar app. In the app you can:
Change which account your payments are deducted from,
Add notes,
Cancel an agreement,
See upcoming deductions, and
See details for both the agreement and your payments.
Good to know
If you don’t have funds in the account, you’ll receive a notification. Contact the company to see if a new deduction attempt will be made. The company is responsible for new deduction attempts.
If the account is closed, you’ll receive a notification. Go to the Autogiro agreement in the app and click ‘Change account’ to select a new account.
