Lunar Block
Cryptocurrency is a digital asset. Trading in cryptocurrencies takes place through Lunar Block in the Lunar app, where we’ve selected the most popular cryptocurrencies for you. On Lunar Block, we always keep an eye on the most popular crypto exchanges, so that we can offer you a good price.
Risks of crypto
As with other crypto platforms, there is always a risk when buying and selling crypto with us. Lunar Block is regulated by the Danish financial supervisory authority (Finanstilsynet), having obtained a CASP licence under the MiCA regulation in September 2025. However, it’s important to note that trading in crypto can still carry other risks compared to trading in securities or other traditionally regulated assets.
Crypto trading involves high risk. The value of a cryptocurrency can both rise and fall, and there is a risk that you lose the entire amount you’ve traded.
Information about crypto from Lunar should never be regarded as a recommendation – all decisions are made entirely by you. We don’t provide advice on which currency you should trade or any other recommendations regarding buying or selling.
Trading in crypto assets takes place through Lunar Block A/S, which is part of Lunar Group A/S. Since Lunar Block A/S isn’t a bank or a payment institution, this means that you have a lower level of consumer protection and aren’t covered by the Danish deposit guarantee (Garantiformuen).
Get started with Lunar Block
Before you can trade crypto, you must complete a short knowledge test in the app. This is to ensure that you’re aware of the risks of crypto trading. You can take the test multiple times before you start trading crypto.
Log in to the app and go to ‘Assets’
Click ‘Get started’ to start the test
Once the test is approved, read through and accept the agreement and terms to get started.
Good to know
Lunar Block is a closed platform. You cannot move your crypto holdings to other platforms or wallets. On Lunar Block, you therefore don’t need to create a wallet or key. It’s enough to have the Lunar app and your BankID.
The price of crypto fluctuates constantly. The price you see in the app is the latest rate, and may differ slightly from the actual price at the time of purchase or sale. However, you never pay more than the amount you specified.
We never give advice on buying or selling crypto. Trading crypto involves high risk where you may lose all or part of your holdings.
