Before you order a card
Make sure your address is correctly entered in the app and that your full name is on your letterbox – without this we cannot guarantee that the card will be delivered.
It’s possible to change the account connected to the card, but it's not possible to change the PIN code for the physical card after ordering.
Order a card
Click ‘Wallet’ in the bottom menu bar
Click ‘+ Add new’ at the top
Choose whether you want a digital or physical card and follow the steps.
The digital card is activated immediately. The physical card needs to be activated by using chip and PIN code on the first purchase.
Number of cards you can order
The number of cards you can order depends on your Lunar plan. You can read more about what’s included in your Lunar plan, here.
Validity period
The validity period of the payment cards is 3 years. You can see the expiry month and year on the back of the physical card and digitally on the card in your Lunar app.
Card renewal
80 days before your physical card expires, you’ll receive a message in your app and the opportunity to choose whether you want a new replacement card.
You have 13 days to respond to the message if you want a replacement card. The message is visible at the top of the app every time you log in.
If you don’t make a choice within 13 days, a replacement card will automatically be sent to you.
If you choose to decline a replacement card, you won’t receive one and the old card cannot be used after the expiry date.
