Your money and data are protected
Lunar holds a banking licence and is supervised by Finanstilsynet (the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority). Your money's covered by the Danish Deposit Guarantee Scheme. The guarantee covers the balance in your Lunar account up to 100 000 EUR, which corresponds to approximately 1 000 000 SEK.
There's no public register of banks connected to the deposit guarantee in Denmark. Instead, a so-called "fallback rule" applies, meaning that all institutions licensed as financial institutions, (such as Lunar) are automatically connected to Garantiformuen – the Danish deposit guarantee.
