The savings account is an account intended for your savings. You can see our current savings rate* on our price list here. The savings rate is paid out to the savings account monthly, at the turn of the month.
You can share a savings account with other Lunar users and set up automatic transfers to the account. However, it’s not possible to link a payment card to the account or pay bills from the account.
Those with Standard, Plus or Unlimited can create a savings account (max 1 savings account per customer).
Open a savings account
Click ‘Wallet’ in the bottom menu bar
Click ‘+’ in the upper right corner
Select ‘Savings account’ and follow the steps.
Before you swipe your finger from left to right over ‘Create account’, make sure to read through all the information. You should now see a confirmation notification in the app.
*The savings rate applies up to 1 050 000 SEK, after which the rate is 0%. The rate is variable and calculated annually. Your money is covered by the Danish deposit guarantee up to 100 000 EUR, corresponding to approximately 1 050 000 Swedish kronor.
