Guidelines in accordance with our terms of use for engraving on metal cards
With our Unlimited plan, you have the option to order a metal card with a personal engraving. The engraving may not consist of signatures or motifs that you don’t have the rights to. Motifs considered offensive or considered to be advertising will be rejected.
Examples of signatures and motifs that will be rejected are:
Logos, trademarks and designs referring to companies, sports clubs and similar;
Motifs protected by copyright law;
Motifs that could prevent or cause confusion in relation to security features on cards such as PIN codes;
Political views, symbols, organisations or parties;
Religious views, symbols, organisations or persons;
Racist, discriminatory or harmful expressions and motifs;
Violence, martial arts or weapons;
Blasphemy;
Offensive, provocative or sexual subjects of any kind, including nudity, whether artistic or pornographic in nature;
All machine-typed text in alphabets other than the Latin alphabet (ABC).
Good to know
The engraving must consist of a single line. If the line is thicker than what corresponds to a line drawn with a pencil, the engraving won’t be approved.
