About reservations
When you make a card purchase, companies may reserve an amount on your account to guarantee that there is coverage for the purchase. The amount is set aside until we’ve received a confirmation from the company. When we receive the confirmation, the reservation is automatically released and the purchase goes through.
A petrol station, for example, typically first reserves a higher amount than what you have fuelled – to ensure that you have enough money in the account.
Releasing reservations
A reservation of less than 5 000 SEK is automatically released after 7 full days if the company doesn’t claim the money. Reservations of more than 5 000 SEK are released after a maximum of 31 days.
Speeding up the process of releasing the reservation
If you want to speed up a company releasing the reservation, we need the company’s consent.
You need to contact the company that has reserved the amount and ask the company to send an email to us and to you. The email from the company must contain the following information and be sent to support@lunar.app:
Amount
Date of the reservation
Confirmation that we may remove the reservation from your account
Organisation number or other identifier to validate that it’s a genuine company
